FEBRUARY 2013 -  The 'Next Step' Sock KAL aimed to take your sock knitting to the next level, whatever that may be. The brief was: "Choose your own sock pattern, but make it something to expand your sock-knitting skills! Full details can be found here. If you're joining in, be sure to subscribe to the blog, 'like' on Facebook or follow on Twitter."

Over 100 knitters participated on Ravelry, Instagram and Facebook, resulting in lots of gorgeous socks. You can see many of them on Instagram using the tag #NSSKAL or click to view them here.

2012 - JUNE SHAWL KNITALONG:

The June Shawl KAL pattern was Veera Valimaki's Color Affection shawl which was voted for by readers. Participants used the tag #JSKknitalong on Twitter and there was a weekly update post including a "Mister Linky" each Tuesday in June (individual posts can be found here). 2012 - STRIPE STUDY SHAWL KAL in conjunction with Natalie from Misadventures in Craft. The first knitalong started when Nat and I decided we would both cast on the Stripe Study Shawl and asked if anyone else wanted to join in - several people did.
