... and welcome to the Cwtch (which rhymes with 'butch'). Chances are you found your way here via my patterns, the various 'tips & tutes' which are amongst my most popular posts, or perhaps you were searching for the shawl my mum wore on the Great British Sewing Bee (season 2). However you arrived here, I hope you like what you find.
That's me, Sarah. I'm a knitter, designer, occasional spinner and book-lover.
My family (the Lego man is a pretty good representation of my husband!)
As mum to two children and a Miniature Schnauzer, I'm working hard at the trickiest craft of all - raising a family. If you stick around, you'll get to know more about life with My Boy, Little Miss and my workaholic husband D - you won't get to see him often... but he looks a lot like a Lego man!

HERE ON THE BLOG: I write an average of three posts in any one week, which usually include Show & TellWIPs and books, seasonal updates (including progress with any Knitalongs) and Finished Object(s).

ELSEWHERE: I can often be found on various social media channels such as RavelryTwitter, Facebook, Pinterest  and InstagramI also curate an Etsy page and am a featured blogger on the inspiration pages of the Scheepjeswol website.

You can find patterns, interviews and articles in other places including the following (which may or may not up to date):
More interviews and patterns are scheduled for publication in coming months.

I hope you enjoy your visit and that you'll come back again soon,
