So I got onto the lace section of Dragonfly Wings, was happily knitting away and even dared to think I would be able to bind off this week.... when I noticed a mistake! It's been one thing after another while knitting this very simple project - it feels cursed. Part of me is considering ripping the whole thing out and starting again with another yarn - it's been relegated to the bottom of my WIP bag until after our holiday. Speaking of which, there is a special Pick A Boo! post next week, so be sure to come back for that. In the meantime, I hope you're all have more success and please feel free to link below. Happy knitting.

oh no! I hate it when things go wrong with lace knitting. Can you tink back or bodge it some how? Would be a shame to rip back all your hard work :(
ReplyDeleteAw, that's awful! I hope it somehow mends itself while it hibernates <3
ReplyDeleteThanks for the linky! xxx
I can't see it - but then I'm probably squinting my eyes and pretending it's not there...
ReplyDeleteWell poop! I am so sorry you are having a rough time-selfishly I read your update and briefly entertained the thought that at lease I am in good company! Read my blog post and you might not feel so bad. ;) Truly-- I hope after a brief break you will be able to see it with fresh eyes. Enjoy your vacation!
ReplyDelete*smiles*
Damn. You're a lot calmer than what I'd be.
ReplyDeleteOh no, it's so frustrating, sometimes, it's just best to put it away for a while and start with a fresh mind. Deb x
ReplyDeleteI'm only getting round now to catching up. Darn the Dragonfly, I would be a lot more grrr about it I think. I hope after the holiday and it's time out at the bottom of the bag it will go smooth. I have to thank you for this kal as not only have I gotten one done but I do hope to get the yarn and cast on another shawl !
ReplyDeleteHmm, I can't see any mistakes, but that's probably because I don't know what the pattern should be doing at this point. :o)
ReplyDeleteDon't be too disheartened. Have a lovely holiday and you'll be in a much better place to tackle it when you get back. :)
That satisfaction when you get through that will be immense. :)
