Despite last week's Gift Guide hiatus I have been busy scouring Pinterest for gift wrapping ideas (some of which I'll share in a later post) and planning some cute personalised cards as well as depositing a few things here and there in discrete places around the house, but there is still so much to do before the end of December. Top of my list today is to tell you about a product I discovered online a few weeks ago and which Rachel from Tangled Yarn has kindly provided for a review.
The Jordana Paige Craft Butler tool is suitable for all kinds of crafting, not just for knitters/crocheters - the spaces can just as easily accomodate embroidery tools, pencils, paper craft items. With zippered pockets, and places to record what is in each place this could be the key to being organised at home, or crafting on the move. You can see the features here...
The pockets are surprisingly spacious and the zips all seem very secure, the outside is lightly padded for extra protection. This seems like a product which could stand up to the rigours of life with a busy crafter. The only slight downside is that the inventory uses US sizes, but that could easily be remedied if, like me, you only use the European sizing. Being made of faux leather the case is vegan friendly, like the rest of the range. This is an attractive but functional piece of kit and one I think most crafters would like to find in their stocking.
The Craft Butler is available in four colours for £45 in the UK, or you can find it for around $55 in the USA. Tangled Yarns have donated the bronze Butler I reviewed for a giveaway which is open to readers within Europe. My apologies to international readers, but on this occasion the cost of posting and the proximity to Christmas make international posting prohibitive on this one - but there will be something for you in the new year.
Danielle from A Stash Addict Yarn has also donated a set of her lovely stitch markers which will be included in the prize. To be in with a chance at winning, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me (a) what is top of your crafty wishlist this year and (b) confirming that you are within Europe. Please ensure you also leave a method of contacting you via your blog/email etc. If you "Like" the CftC facebook page you can also get an extra entry by leaving a second comment. The winner will be randomly selected on Thursday 29th December NOVEMBER and announced in the final Festive Gift Guide post that day. GOOD LUCK!

What lovely prizes! On my Christmas list this year are a couple of knitting books but what I'd like even more is to have a bit more time (uninterrupted by small people) to do some knitting or get my sewing machine out!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the UK by the way
And I already like your Facebook page too!
ReplyDeleteThat looks brilliant! My needles really need storing properly, they're all crammed into one of the little plastic pouches that my knit pro interchangables came in at the moment. Plus the numbers have rubbed off the needles, I currently just have to remember which mm needles are where and relying on my memory is not a good thing generally! Maybe I should put a needle gauge on my wish list, along with the fabric and craft books that are already on it! Oh and I am in the UK :)
ReplyDeleteI already like you on facebook :) Have realised I'm not subscribed to your blog though, so doing that now too!
ReplyDeleteOoooh that does look like a nifty thing to have! I would love to win this :)And I live in Europe, yay!

ReplyDeleteIf santa was feeling particlarly generous I would love a cricut machine! However if he is feeling the pinch like the rest of us, I would be more than satisfied with some posh crochet hooks... the ones with the painted fimo handles!

ReplyDeleteIt's a long list....but top is a couple of skeins from Ba T'at yarns so I can knit an oriental lily for my baby daughter. They have the most amazing yellow and pink colourway which is just like those rhubarb and custard sweets from the 70s! Also non snagging stitch markers from fripperies and bibelots and Kate davies's new book. Heaven!

Oh and I liked on fb, and am enjoying your posts there too!

I am hoping for some Juno Buffy sock wool and a rag rug kit. Luckily I'm in Europe so can take part.
ReplyDeleteWell bizarre as it sounds, I'd like som stitch markers because I just use washers and paper clips! I'd love some gorgeous roving too so that I can spin my own artistic yarn.
ReplyDeleteI want an overlocker, but my chances are slim to none on that one. I would also love a set of addi interchangables but I don't think I'll be getting those either. Merry Christmas to me! haha
ReplyDeleteI'm in the UK, but I think you already knew that and your FB page was liked a long time ago.
I'd absolutely love a spinning wheel and a set of fancy stitch markers for Christmas. Obviously the latter is easier to store than the former! I'm here in freezing, cold Somerset.
