Today's tiny Finished Object is a Finger Mouse puppet from Dot Pebbles' free pattern
(shown here far larger than life which amplifies all the imperfections! *eek*)
This took just a little bit of scrap yarn and hardly any time to make (apart from the ears which I re-did to make bigger) and would make a great advent calendar gift or stocking filler. It's a bit big for Little Miss' fingers, so I think she'll be getting a smaller one using 4ply/ sock yarn and 3.25mm needles, and probably a pretty colour. This was made from worsted weight on 4mm needles.
Thanks so much to everyone who visited last Friday and left encouraging comments about my Armwarmer pattern - I can't believe so many people have queued or 'favourited' (new word?) it and I've already seen a few FOs (they were made as gifts so the photos haven't been added to the pattern yet, but will be after Christmas).
I'm hoping this will be the weekend we get our festive decorations out and have queued more lovely little knits from one of my new favourite sites - Little Cotton Rabbits. I'm especially fond of the Christmas Tree Bears pattern (although there are enough other lovelies to look at there to keep me occupied for some time).
And from another favourite blog, Dottie Angel's 12 Days of Joyfulness begins today. An interesting list of ingredients has already been posted and there will be different instructions provided for the next 12 days.
If you haven't already visited these blogs, or the other Finished Objects posts at Tami's Amis I think you'll find plenty to keep you busy... and maybe a little inspired too.
Wishing you a happy, crafty and fun-filled weekend!
