I know, I know. Hexipuffs and I are "on a break", and I shouldn't be taking part in Carole's One A Day update at all. But how could I resist? I have made 3 this week with the yarn from Natalie and having just arrived home to two gorgeous new skeins of sock yarn from my lovely friend Danielle (A Stash Addict) I have only one thing on my mind, and it's not SOCKS! At least one of these - probably the one on the right - is going to HAVE to become squishy puffs of colourfulness.
THIS WEEK'S TALLY: 106
PATTERN: Beekeeper's Quilt by Tiny Owl Knits
When I started this project I was worried that boredom would quickly set in, but I'm really missing it. Especially as I have donated a few of my 'puffs to other causes. I can't wait to get back to it, but for now I need to get on with Chele. More on that tomorrow!
Oooh, the Stash Addict yarn looks gorgeous (is it the fantasty range?) Bet it looks fab knitted up. Can't wait for my yarn diet to be over so I can buy some.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing my yarn in your puffs, it looks so cute!
Glad you've made a few more hexipuffs, I love your new yarn, it is just gorgeous. I will look forward to see how it knits up.xxxx

ReplyDeleteI am so chuffed you love them! can not waite to see how they knit up!! so get crackalacking!!! lol xxxxx
ReplyDeleteThat yarn looks gorgeous, no wonder you are not getting bored of the hexipuff. With such lovely and different yarn to use, I think that's what makes us bored sometimes, not the project but the same yarn for too long!
ReplyDeleteThose yarns are going to make such lovely hexipuffs, I too have had a bit of a break from hexipuffs and miss doing them. Even thought they are really repetitive there is just something about them. xx
ReplyDeleteI think that yarn on the right would make amazing hexis!
ReplyDeleteYour hexipuffs are great. Love that yarn.
ReplyDeleteWow....this Knitting Wool color is so awesome.
