One A Day (& Calling all Hexipuffers!)

Hello all (and a big wave to those visiting from Carole's One a Day group)! I've had a little break from my Beekeeper's Quilt over the last week due to half term and a severe cast of "start-itis" (more on that tomorrow). My count therefore remains at 102... but is soon to be 100 as I'm donating two little 'puffs to a charity quilt being arranged by UK Handmade Magazine

I came across this great independent magazine after joining the Beekeeper's Quilt KAL on facebook where the editor is also an active member. The new issue of UKHM is out today and is available to read online for free (or you can donate to download a PDF copy) and apart from celebrating their 3rd birthday with plenty of articles and features, there is an interesting interview with Stephanie Dosen of Tiny Owl Knits (the quirky designer of the Beekeeper's Quilt) as well as a charity fundraiser where 192 'Hexipuffers' are being invited to donate 2 'puffs each. The quilt made from these will be the prize in a charity fundraiser in aid of NACRO (the crime reduction charity) who are working with children and young people in 'high risk' areas.

You can find out how to donate a couple of your puffs and how to take part in the competition to win the quilt here. Good luck!

I'll be back tomorrow with lots of WIPs! Oh dear - I don't know where to start.....
