Granny's apples & thrifted goodness

YESTERDAY:
The sun was shining.
We went to see Grandma.
There were lots of apples, some huge fish and a dear deer.

(Are you singing yet?)

TODAY:
My Boy is sick *boo*
I thrifted the cutest vintage dress for £8 *yay*

I'll show you more when it's had some TLC :)

I hope that you and yours are having a happy (and healthy) weekend

  1. Hope your boy is feeling better soon. Can't wait to see the dress in its full glory!

When I was growing up, we would go to "pick your own" places in central Ohio. Apple picking was my favourite, since it involved climbing and not bending over! Your pictures of the apples bring back fond memories.

  4. Thank you all. My Boy is indeed better - it must have been something he ate or a 24 hour bug *phew*

@Kepanie - MIL has a wonderful space which includes a small orchard and some beautiful woodland (where the deer comes from each evening for food!). Sadly, since FIL died a couple of years ago she no longer cooks, but her apple pies were legendary before that :-(
