Ta-dah! It's the Caponcho

I almost forgot!!!! My Boy kindly obliged to stand on a garden chair and take "blocked" pictures of my Caponcho.
Dazzlingly bright in direct sunlight

True-to-life colours in the shade
YARN: Noro Korchoran x 2 skeins
NEEDLES: 8mm/ US 11 circulars
Ravelry project notes are here

I'm really very pleased with how it turned out and already wondering which yarn I could use in the Autumn for a longer version with a cowl neck as per the pattern. This is the third pattern I've used by the same designer (and now knitting the 4th) and I really like the simplicity of the designs and their quirkiness. I thought I'd prefer this with the points at the front but it's actually really nice feeling the soft floaty Vs down my arms - with a longer version I may even use cufflinks or similar to have the option of wearing them as 'sleeves'.

  1. Hello Sarah! Your caponcho looks sooooo snuggly and cuddly! I just had a good look back at your last posts, is this the gorgeous two skeins of Noro? Gosh, there are so many types of Noro in the world, I've never seen cuddly stuff before!
Enjoy wearing it! I'm sure you will!

  3. It looks gorgeous :) Might have to add that to my queue... Not that I have the time or the yarn, but you've made me want one of my own now ;)
