Something different

I picked up a pack of Beech Weaving Sticks at the weekend as something to involve my children and this afternoon we've made our first brooch from some left-over yarn, a spare button and of course a brooch pin.

This is such an easy and fun way to make something - my 4 year old DS and 22 month old DD both had a "go" - albeit with a fair amount of help. I feel I should also point out that DD chose the (slightly mismatched) button!
